Jill Goodman's love of gymnastics began at the age of 8 when she was enrolled in a rec class at her local park district. She continued with the sport in high school where she competed on the varsity team. During her many years of working with kids, she has always integrated gymnastics into her programming.

Jill has coached recreational gymnastics on Chicago's North Shore since 1997. She loves seeing children of all ages gain confidence and body awareness as they progress through her programs. She brings boundless energy to her classes and truly loves seeing the growth and confidence that gymnastics instills in young children.

Jill graduated from Indiana University with a BA in journalism, and worked in that field until her first child was born in 1996. Soon after, she had the opportunity to teach gymnastics at the local park district. From the beginning, she knew it was the right move. Her love of the sport and creative coaching style has made her an asset to everyone she works with.

Safe Spring/Summer 2021 classes will be conducted at your home either outdoors or in a basement. All equipment is sanitized between groups.

Gymnastics Classes

We will work with your budding gymnast on basic skills or help them master a specific trick. Classes are best suited for kids in preschool through elementary school.

We teach fundamentals such as cartwheels, rolls, handstands, and bridges. We work on flexibility with stretching and skills through skill stations. We also incorporate fun elements like obstacle courses, balance games, and parachute play.

Classes are pay as you go. If you miss a class, you won’t be charged. We accept Venmo, checks, Chase Quick Pay, Zelle, and cash.
